Ethics Consulting Firm

Our Story

Zaev and Robert met during graduate school whilst studying ethics at Harvard Medical School. Whilst initial conversation centered around Liverpool Football Club, they quickly recognized they shared many convictions when it came to ethics in medicine and technology. Zaev and Robert identified a need for more comprehensive ethical oversight of health technology companies to ensure that the interests of all stakeholders are met. Yet, at the same time, they shared concern that ethical oversight all too frequently adds restrictive red tape that obstructs, rather than advances, progress in health technology. As they progressed through graduate school and in their endeavors afterwards, they saw how ethical overreach often hampers different kinds of businesses. However, Zaev and Robert often discussed how addressing ethics at the forefront of company formation and development, in line with company and organizational values and pragmatics, can benefit not only consumers but businesses long-term.

The decision was made to form a consulting company that could offer such advice up front -- a "red team" rigorously investigating the ethical issues that have or will arise within companies, and an overarching goal of providing concrete, actionable recommendations for improving the ethical aspects of various sectors of business. Zaev and Robert believe that highlighting the ethical benefits of businesses and integrations is integral to an unbiased, forward-thinking review, which should not simply be reduced to isolation of ethical challenges and risks.
